Passes to travel

Good news is that we encourage you to travel while here in Germany.

Here is the USEUR Training Holidays calendar: http://www.eur.army.mil/Training/USAREURTrainingHolidaySchedule-FY2018.pdf

However, given some of the unrest,  it is really important that we can get in touch with you ... just in case.  Also, if you are in an accident and not on a pass, the military can refuse to pay for your medical expenses and in the worst case scenario; the military can refuse to pay your family any money they would normally be due.  So, that pass is to protect you and your loved ones.

This is the official LRMC pass policy, modified to cover just information for the residents / medical students on Active Duty who come to LRMC on TDY.

When do you need a pass?

Border Pass - Leaving Germany (crossing the border)

Mileage Pass - Going farther than 200 miles within Germany from Landstuhl (i.e. Munich) - see map above

Requests for Pass must be submitted to the C Company Orderly Room

NLT seven (7) working days prior to the scheduled pass dates to ensure timely
processing, safety, and accountability.

Details for requesting a pass will be given to you upon arrival.  You can also request a pass from your home installation.
